Hydraulic Set Rod Pump Anchor

Velocity ALS Hydraulic Set “J” Anchors allow for the installation of capillary string or TEC wire with a rod pump and do not require rotation to set, thereby eliminating rig crew errors.

The anchor utilizes the pump’s differential pressure to activate a piston that drives a live slip into the casing wall, securing the tubing in place during normal operations. The anchor can be pre-loaded with the rig on-site by filling the tubing string to ensure it’s properly set.

The “J” Anchors are modular with the ability to run tandem tools for deep, high-load wells. Additionally, the slips can be changed for different casing sizes. The tool is also fully redressable.
